Scout Sunday was a success in 2009. Several current and former scouts participated this year. The worship service began with a color guard and the presentation of colors. Other scouts were greeters, acolytes, worship leaders, and led prayers. Tom Shane, a former Eagle Scout, presented the sermon. Afterwards the congregation joined together for a hot dog picnic and fellowship.
