Volunteer Opportunities
You can volunteer for more than one ministry. Please check all of the boxes for the Volunteer Opportunities that you are interested in doing.

- Be added to the office e-mail distribution list for requested prayers

- Record weekly worship attendance in database
- Prepare visitor letters
- Run and fold weekly bulletins

- Help with Newsletter creation

- Maintain Sanctuary bulletin board
- Record weekly Sunday School attendance for the different adult and children’s classes

- Interior light bulb replacement-monitor and replace when needed
- Lawn mowing – volunteers needed to mow the church lawn, which will take 2-3 hours one time per month. The church as a riding tractor and a couple of regular mowers.
- Keep Interior plants watered

- Run sound equipment – volunteers are needed to operate the sound equipment during Sunday worship service and to be available for special events to set up different sound needs. Bob Martin would love to have lots of help!

- Volunteer to help at the Family Meal program at Mission Northeast. On the last Friday of each month, KCC prepares and serves a free, hot meal at Mission Northeast in New Caney. Volunteers are needed for setting up tables, preparing and serving the meal, talking with those who join us for dinner, and cleaning up afterward. Contact Charlotte Bilderback to help.

Family Promise
Family Promise’s mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence. We make our building available for this ministry, and this is an effective use of our resources. It’s outreach and good stewardship. It’s doing the things that Jesus commanded. Our next rotation is the last week in March. Sign up now for one or more of the following:

- Laundering of bedding at end of week
- Set-Up and Tear-Down of rooms
- Furnish Food for Breakfasts
- Transportation of Bedding from one church to another

Care Team
Looking for a Few Good Disciples: If God is calling you to serve, may I suggest the KCC Care Team. If you enjoy sending cards, writing notes, making phone calls or visits, praying for and giving encouragement to others, then the Care Team is for you! Disciples Men invites you to get involved in one of the follow opportunities:

- Meals on Wheels works through Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston. John and Nadine Cartwright are part of this monthly ministry to seniors and will help you get connected
|
|
|
|
| |
- New Horizons is an opportunity to work with disabled adults in New Caney to construct benches for sale to provide funding. Keith Hale is a regular volunteer and will help you get connected
|
|
|
|
| |
- Disciples Men in the Southwest will gather at Jarvis College (a Disciples higher education facility) the week of May 24-29 to renovate apartments. If you can provide some assistance, contact John Cartwright or Greg Ingram.
